It’s been alreay 5 years since I met Biltnore Design Galleria, Kelly and Dave team for my “De Clieu Coffee and Sandwich” shop construction work. I cannot say enough great things about Biltmore Design Galleris, Kelly and Dave helped me to design + built to a thriving and inspiring creative coffee and sandwich store. It was quite a project (demo, adding bathroom, commercial kitchen, new electrical , all new plumbing, HVAC, tiling, flooring and cabinetry etc) and Biltmore Design Galleria did a m.

First, excellent and beautiful new showroom, very impressive indeed! We met Dave and Kelly back in their Chantilly location and we had an awesome experience with them. Our renovation project mainly consists of the following:
– Kitchen redesign/remodeling.
– Removal of existing and installation of new wood floor for two levels.
– Living room display/showpiece bookshelves and cabinets.
– Architectural changes of the house (removing existing and creating new walls, columns, etc).

All of the above added up quickly but Dave and Kelly were super flexible. They listened to our requests carefully and worked with us on the finer details in order to meet our budget. Due to the scale of the renovation, there had been many iterations of the project design, and Kelly was extremely patient throughout the process. She produced beautiful renderings of our new kitchen and the showpiece bookshelves so we could visualize the final product and also walked us through all the changes. Also to be noted is that they made smart and valuable recommendations on where we could save. For example, they suggested that we sand down the existing handrails and re-stain to match our new wood floor color. This was a great idea because our house has three levels and many stairs, replacing existing handrails with new ones would have been a significant cost! This is just one of the many instances where Kelly and Dave helped us to reduce cost and stay within our budget.

The entire renovation took about roughly 2 months and the majority of the work was completed on time. We added more changes along the way which is why our project took a bit longer than scheduled. Dave and Kelly were really accommodating to our “indecision and change of hearts”. For the actual work, Dave’s crew worked everyday from 8-5, I have nothing but compliments for these folks – they were respectful and worked quickly and efficiently. I want to specifically point out how clean they were! Before the end of each workday, Dave’s crew vacuumed and cleaned up the construction areas and stowed away their equipment. This was a huge plus. Also they worked in well planned “stages/phases” so we were able to stay and sleep in the various parts of our house, while the renovation took place simultaneously. This was great because we didn’t have to factor renting or hotel stays into our budget.

Working with Kelly/Dave truly has been a pleasure! They are professional, knoweldagable, patient, fun and very pleasant to work with. I am super type A and detail-oriented, the planning of this project took about 6 months and I was dreading the details. Kelly/Dave was there every step of the way, answered all of our questions, helped to manage and ease our anxieties, and produced us a beautiful finished house. In retrospect the entire process was surprisingly easy, because they were there, and I find it so rare that not only their craftsmanship is stellar, their customer service is also superb.

If you are considering renovating your home, I strongly recommend Kelly and Dave’s shop!

A couple of years ago when I was selling my house, I worked with Biltmore Design Galleria to redo my kitchen countertop and flooring work. Kelly helped me with selection of flooring and granite. First, I have to say Go VISIT their showroom. They have the most beautiful showroom in Northern VA area. Both Chantilly and City of Fairfax location are beautiful. Their showroom design is very impressive but their service and workmanship are more impressive. My experience with Kelly and Dave was excellent ! they are very helpful with design, selection of cabinets and countertop also backsplash tiles. Dave has a great knowledge and experience in construction work, he answered me with all kind of electrical/plumbing questions I had. I strongly recommend them for any remodeling project. I already recommend them to one of my neighbors and my neighbor is very happy to have nice contractors and designer for their kitchen renovation work.

Our kitchen floor was damaged and needed to be replaced. I needed new shoe molding to match the cabinets. Kelly at Biltmore went the extra 10 miles to help me. She ordered the Norcraft hickory shoe molding for me, on a rush, and it arrived in time for the installers to use on the new floor. I recommend them. Helpful and considerate.

Biltmore design was excellent. We expanded our hall bath into two bathrooms. From the design stage to the execution, we could not be happier. They were reliable and on top of everything. Highly recommend it.

We chose Biltmore Design Galleria/Biltmore Construction Co. for our major home renovation, primarily, because they were the only one (of four contractors) to tell us our kitchen layout and concept could be achieved. The cost was a big factor too, and their estimate was right in line with ours. Though there were a few challenges along the way (two foundation leaks and mold), Dave and Kelly guided us through them all–and the end results are stunning! What a disaster. It looks great…now…as long as you don’t compare it with our hall bath that Biltmore remodeled in Feb 2017.

Biltmore is the professional place you want to go to. From the owner to the salesperson to their workers, they’re all professional, because the owner won’t settle for anything less. They said it would take 2 weeks to do the work, it took 10 day. The bathroom is perfect.

Go to Biltmore! But whatever you do, don’t go to Craft, they make promises they aren’t able to deliver.

Biltmore Design Galleria was an amazing company to work with during my kitchen remodel project. Kelly took the time to make sure I had the cabinets I wanted, they fit into the space perfectly, had the functionality I required, and were within my price range. When the cabinets were delivered, Biltmore performed a quality check on all cabinets before installation and were able to quickly fix a few of the mistakes made by the manufacturer. Also, Dave took the time to work with my independent contractor when he was unsure of how the oven was supposed to fit into the cabinet designed for the oven. Dave and Kelly were both a pleasure and very professional throughout the process and I will be using them for future renovation projects.

Our experience with Biltmore Design has been excellent. We not only renovated out kitchen but we moved a couple of load bearing walls. In fact,we moved the kitchen to a different part of the house. In addition, we had them remove a door and replace it with a window and replace a small kitchen window with a very large one. This required a fair amount of masonry work on the outside of the house. They met their deadlines! What a relief. Dave and Kelly are very precise and patient and put zero pressure on us to make decisions. They are honest and hard working and have a wonderful crew. Dave transformed a disaster of a kitchen into a meticulously designed show-stopper. We live in a very old house in Washington DC and the kitchen was a nightmare but seemingly there was not much in the way of space to play with. I requested estimates from many contractors but nobody could figure out how to re-design the kitchen in an effective manner. I hated most of the proposals. Enter Dave. He suggested that we move the fridge to a different place and voila! Just that suggestion changed everything. Now we have a gorgeous kitchen with all the space we need. The crew was very detail oriented, helpful, and kept the space clean. The work was done on time and Dave was always very responsive and provided great customer service. We had a great experience and are very happy with our new cabinets and re-designed kitchen.
